Summary: BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2025 MINI Countryman S ALL4 and JCW Countryman ALL4 vehicles. The armrest support bracket on the rear side door panel may be improperly secured, allowing the armrest to detach during an air bag deployment.

Consequence: A detached armrest can strike a rear seat occupant or prevent the thorax air bag from deploying properly, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the left and right rear side door panels, free of charge. The vehicles have not been sold from dealer inventory and therefore no owner letters will be mailed. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.

Summary: BMW of North America, LLC. (BMW) is recalling certain 2023-2025 BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce vehicles. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models and model years. The integrated brake (IB) system may malfunction and result in a loss of power brake assist or cause the Antilock Brake (ABS) and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) systems to not function properly.

Consequence: A loss of power brake assist can extend the distance required to stop the vehicle. Additionally, malfunctioning ABS and/or DSC systems can cause a loss of vehicle control. Either of these scenarios can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the integrated brake system, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed between June and December 2024. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417 or Rolls Royce customer service at 1-877-877-3735.

The vehicle experienced intermittent electrical failures, including screen blackouts/reboots during startup and while driving. These events affected visibility of vehicle information and settings. Daily numerous warning alerts that the “Reduced Driver Assisantce - Forward Collision Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Parking Collision Warning and many more would constantly flash. 2 weeks in the shop and a camera was replaced. The interior camera on the front windshield temperature is high, and burns my hand when touching it. The measured temperature is 58.4C (137.12F) as shown in the attached picture. This is a risk for harm the driver and potential fire hazard.

After the software upgrade to …24-11-5xx, the customer is no longer able to log onto Alexa in the vehicle. The system reacts to the customer’s voice (a blue line appears on the central display), but Alexa does notwork.

MINI Service Action - Tailgate Lock M51 02 25

Due to changes in the opening mechanism ofthe tailgate’s latch, it is possible that thetailgate may not completely lock after closing.

After reading out the vehicle key, Condition Based Service (CBS) data is not displayed or is incomplete. No fault memory entries have been stored, and the CBS maintenance data is displayed correctly in the vehicle.

The MINI Personal Assistant does not activate or once activated does not acknowledge voice commands.
