Summary: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Toyota Venza, 2023-2025 RAV4 Prime, RAV4, Highlander, GR Corolla, Crown, 2024-2025 Lexus TX, LS, Toyota Tacoma, Grand Highlander, and 2025 Lexus RX, Toyota Crown Signia, Camry, RAV 4 Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), and 4 Runner vehicles. Due to an error in the instrument panel software at vehicle startup, the instrument panel may fail to display vehicle speed, brake system, and tire pressure warning lights.

Consequence: An instrument panel display that does not show critical information can increase the risk of a crash or injury.

Remedy: Dealers will update the instrument panel software for non-PHEV vehicles, free of charge. For PHEV vehicles, dealers will inspect the instrument panel assembly, and either replace it, or update the software, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed December 5, 2025. Rear backup camera screen goes blank when car put into reverse. This occurs intermittently.

I was pulling out of a park my car accelerated at a high speed I applied brakes but car didn’t stop I hit another vehicle and my car still did not stop my I hit a large boulder and my car hydroplaned and landed by on it wheels and knocked the boulder into another vehicle my car still did not stop finally my car just shut down

Screen on dash still goes blank sometimes and infotainment system reboots.

While driving at normal speed, the vehicle’s engine compartment caught fire without any collision or external impact. I pulled over immediately, and the fire originated from under the hood. The vehicle had approximately 25,000 miles and no prior mechanical issues. This incident occurred without warning and posed a serious safety risk.

The electrical charging system is failing to properly charge the 12V battery. This is a hybrid vehicle and the hybrid battery is not effected. The dealer has had to replace the battery once as defective but the problem persists. The battery is not being charged and I am getting battery warning lights and a dead battery.

Defective driver seat. The lumbar support on the drivers seat is loose and pushed forward when driving, it presses against the lower back when you brake while driving.
